John Carroll – General Manager/Director
John is a Director of the company and has been the General Manager since 2005. In that time he has overseen business growth of almost 400% including significant expansion of Civic’s regional coverage. Under John, Civic has expanded into the Hamilton and Wellington regions with great results for our clients. Prior to Civic, John gained significant experience in financial, operations and plant management roles in export manufacturing and vehicle assembly facilities in New Zealand and Australia. John holds a BSc (Victoria University) and is a 6 Sigma Green Belt.

Bjorn Revfeim – Commercial Manager/Director
Bjorn is Civic’s Commercial Manager and a Director of the company. Prior to Civic, Bjorn spent 15 years abroad primarily involved in investment banking working for Lehman Brothers and Nomura. In his last role with Nomura he was European CAO in the bank’s Operations Division, responsible for strategy development, staffing, and cost control. Bjorn has strong financial and analytical experience but always adopts a pragmatic and a keep-it-simple approach to solution delivery. Bjorn is a Chartered Financial Analyst and holds a BBus (AUT).

Brad Taylor – Auckland Contracts Manager
Brad has been with Civic since 2009. In his role as a Contracts Manager, Brad has responsibility for managing the West Auckland Road Corridor Maintenance Contract(RCM) for Fulton Hogan; He also oversees Cornwall Park cleaning services and Central Auckland toilet cleaning for the Auckland Council. In his role Brad is responsible for the management and organisation of our wet cleaning teams and is well versed in steam and waterblasting operations. He has a ‘can-do’ attitude that compliments the core values of Civic.
Rob McKinney – Auckland Operations Manager: Street Cleaning Services
Rob has recently joined (May-2015) the Civic team after an extensive career with the NZ Defence Force as a Mechanical Transport Operations Commander. He has vast experience in operating all classes of motor vehicles including Schwarze road sweepers and was responsible for the training of sweeper operators. Since joining Civic Rob has gained practical experience in all aspects of the company’s activities. In his current role he oversees all street cleaning operations across Auckland.
Allan Norgrove – Auckland Operations Manager: Facility Services
Allan has had a long association with graffiti contracts and was one of the key architects of the Zero Tolerance contract with Auckland City. He has been with the company since 2000 and held a variety of managerial and project leadership roles, and has experience in a number of Partnering style contracts in Auckland. He currently manages all commercial and graffiti operations across Auckland.
Bruce Meehan– Auckland Contracts Manager
Bruce joined the Civic team in 2005, being involved at both the grass roots level and in supervisory positions, has acquired a practical grounding in all aspects of the company’s activities. In 2012 Bruce accepted the challenge of establishing and managing the company’s depot in Wiri, where he was previously responsible for the day to day management of the Southern Solid Waste Streetscapes operations, working closely with the Auckland City Council Solid Waste Team.
Ravi Khatri – Auckland Operations Manager: Sanitary Services
Ravi has been a part of the Civic team since 2011 and currently oversees operations across all toilet and changing room cleaning service across Auckland. Previously, he had responsibility for the South Auckland Urban & Rural Parks Toilets & Changing rooms cleaning contract (with Downer). He has worked in a number of different roles at Civic, working his way from field operations into a manager role. Originally from New Delhi, Ravi immigrated to NZ with his young family. He holds a BA (University Of Delhi) and Graduate Dip in Business (AWI).
Lance Hockey – Auckland Operations Manager: Waste Services
Lance previously worked as a contract manager based out of our Wiri depot before taking over Operations for all Auckland Waste Services. Lance has a project management background in the building industry with a focus on customer service.
Andrew Voyce – Hamilton Contracts Manager
Andrew has been employed by Civic as a contract manager since 2007. Since June 2014 he has been the Hamilton Contracts Manager. In this role Andrew is responsible for ensuring contract activities in the Hamilton and Waikato Region are delivered within budget and timeframes. These include street and pavement sweeping, litter collection and sumping. Andrew works closely with representatives from Downer, Hamilton City Council, Waikato District Council and other supply chain partners involved in the Hamilton Infrastructure Alliance and Waikato Roading Alliance.
Praneel Singh – Hamilton Operations Manager
Praneel has been with Civic since 2006 working in a number of roles. His responsibilities have included: Streetscape maintenance cleaning; maintenance of plant and equipment; waste management of major events; and staff management and training. Praneel has also had a hand in the evaluation and purchasing of new plant and equipment. He assisted the set-up of new contracts in Manukau and Wellington, and in 2013 Praneel was appointed Operations Manager for Civic in the new Hamilton Infrastructure Alliance contract.
David Tautari – Wellington Contracts Manager
David has been with Civic since 2004. David worked in a variety of roles in our Auckland South operations before moving to his current role as Wellington Contracts Manager in 2013. David is responsible for contracts across Wellington, Porirua, and Kapiti Coast encompassing a wide variety of activities and works. David has extensive management experience and a vast knowledge of facilities maintenance and waste management services.
Adrian Chatfield – Fleet Manager
Adrian currently oversees and manages the entire Civic Vehicle Fleet. With a background of managing the Wellington CBD cleaning contract (since 2009), he has been with Civic since 2013 when the firm took over the contract. Adrian has extensive experience operating mechanical sweepers and managing public clean ups after major events such as the Rugby Sevens, Film Premieres and many others.
Murray Grant – Health & Safety Compliance Manager
Murray joined Civic in 2013, with previous experience as Australasian SHEQ Manager for a large multinational manufacturing company.
Liz Devine – Human Resources & Project Manager
Liz joined Civic in 2016 and has a varied background from joining the Defence Force (RNZN) to 13 years’ experience working in child protection social work services in both NZ and the UK. Her previous experience included frontline social work, senior advisory, training and management positions both mainly for Government services.
